Ice Climber

Ice Climber is a classic arcade-style platformer for the Nintendo Entertainment System that challenges players to scale icy mountains as Popo and Nana. Armed with wooden mallets, these determined climbers must smash through ice, overcome dangerous enemies, and reach the summit of each mountain while collecting bonus items along the way.

• Mountain-Climbing Action: Jump between platforms and break through ice blocks as you steadily climb toward the top of each frozen mountain.

• Play as Popo or Nana: Control the blue-clad Popo or the pink-clad Nana, each equipped with a trusty mallet for smashing obstacles and defeating enemies.

• Challenging Enemies: Avoid or defeat pesky creatures, including Topis and Nitpickers, while navigating slippery platforms and dangerous gaps.

• Bonus Stages: Reach the summit of each mountain and enter bonus rounds where you race against the clock to collect vegetables and earn extra points.

• Two-Player Cooperative Gameplay: Team up with a second player for a shared climbing adventure, working together to reach the summit or competing for the highest score.

• Increasing Difficulty: Progress through increasingly challenging mountains that demand precise jumps, careful timing, and quick reflexes.

With its simple yet challenging gameplay, distinctive characters, and cooperative arcade action, Ice Climber delivers a memorable retro platforming experience that remains a classic part of Nintendo's early gaming history.
